One of the fastest growing sports is 'Scuba Diving' so why not become part of the trend with Enfield BSAC. In 2004 the Enfield branch celebrated its quarter centenary with dives organised in the UK, Canary Islands and the Red Sea. This year will be no different; there is an extensive dive list planned for the year, some of which will be with our Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs) and some on chartered hard boats. With more and more people jetting off on holidays all around the world, with access to exotic resorts and wonderful opportunities, Scuba Diving offers the chance to see what is in the waters around our own and distant shores. Many people miss out or even worse get into trouble because they simply do not know and understand the basic safety requirements. Enfield BSAC wants to change that to help you enjoy your holiday experience all the more, not only are we an enthusiastic club offering excellent training we also have a great social life. We frequently arrange trips to excellent diving areas such as: The Scillies, Scapa Flow, Canary Islands and the Red Sea, to mention just a few. The primary aim is to have fun learning to dive, extending one's skills with competent like minded individuals.
Our Ocean Diver courses are run periodically throughout the year, and these are usually booked well in advance, so to avoid disappointment contact Enfield BSAC today for more details of our branch and our activities (email bsac1105@yahoo.co.uk). Enfield BSAC has an exemplary safety record due to its thorough training program and excellent instructors.
Enfield BSAC conducts diver training over a number of weeks where training is conducted by nationally qualified instructors. Beginners start with a "Try Dive" session before committing themselves. They can move onto the Ocean Diver course which qualifies them to participate in open water diving. All the necessary equipment is supplied by the Branch during this phase. When you learn with our Branch you will become a BSAC member and will immediately be entitled to the full benefits of BSAC membership. You are able to participate in the full range of club activities, which include extending your skills, as well as specialist courses arranged by the Branch or the BSAC Regional teams, social activities, weekend diving trips to inland or coastal sites and diving holidays. Click here for more information on Training Courses.
Enfield Branch is superbly equipped with 2 Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs) and is able to mount fascinating diving trips and expeditions. When necessary, we charter dive boats at coastal locations.
